Create your own mini barn quilt in just one day. Join in on the fun!
Our own Mary Noska and Lisa Kajer will teach a 7-hour (9 am – 4 pm) barn quilt class on August 16th, 2022, at Faith Lutheran Church (430 12th St. NE) in Staples, MN.
Limit of 15 participants. Must have a minimum of 12 to offer the class.
The total cost is $85 ($50 for supplies and $35 for instruction). Please note that Mary and Lisa donate their instructional fee to Barn Quilts of Central MN/LEAP. These fees pay for supplies so more barn quilts can be made for non-profits in the area and added to the Barn Quilts of Central MN trail.
The supplies for the class include a 2’ x 2’ aluminum composite sign board, brushes, paints, a barn quilt pattern, barn quilt instructions, and tape and rulers to be used in the class. Choose up to 4 colors from a selection of 14 colors (including black & white). All of the paint is a premium latex, exterior semi-gloss.
Coffee & snacks will be provided. Bring something for your lunch or you could go out for a quick bite. Subway and the Staples Dairy Queen are a short distance away.
Register by emailing your name, address, and phone number to barnquiltscmn@gmail.com or complete our website contact form. Class registration is on a first-come-first-serve basis with a limit of 15 participants. You will be notified you are registered for the class and given more instructions. You pay the day of the class, but we will bill you if you don’t show up, as space is limited.
