Long Prairie received a $10,000 grant from the Region Five Development Commission for a welcoming communities project. Harmony Park was chosen to create a place where the community gathers. There will be a pavilion going up and over 50 trees and shrubs have been planted there. It is a perfect spot for a barn quilt and especially one called
“Harmony Square”!
This barn quilt was a gift from Barn Quilts of Central MN and was made by the Staples Motley High School Art Students.
